1940s P&H Dragline at Pioneer Park, Fairbanks, Alaska


















Here are some photos of a small Pawling and Harnischfeger dragline used for mining in the Fairbanks area.

  1. Oh, that is a great little dragline! It's a P&H Model 150, introduced in 1935 and discontinued in 1951. Its bucket is rated at 1/2-cubic-yard capacity or about 3/4-ton payload. A construction-class digging machine.
